{ Oh, I Wish I Were An Oscar Mayer Weiner }

A brief list of things that have puzzled me of late:
1. Blogger put my post about the second half of 2009, written and posted after the first post about 2009, under that first post. Sheesh, Blogger. Why'd ya do that?
2. I found a pacifier in my box of scarves and ribbons. We went to a wedding on Friday night, and I needed a sash for my dress, so I dumped the entire box of pretties on my bed. Out rolled a little green binkie. I was too surprised for words. Later I realized that the last time my scarf box was out was the night David and Chelle came over for dinner, and Annabelle entertained herself with all manner of scarves and sashes. Jack's pacifier must have been tangled up in them. Talk about unexpected!!

3. When I went to the grocery store on Saturday, this

was sitting outside the entrance. The Oscar Mayer Weinermobile. Nothing, my friends, prepares you to see a weinermobile outside your favorite grocer. I had no idea they really existed. It had a license plate and everything. Can you imagine driving down the freeway and seeing that outside your window?

"Holy cow, babe, there's a hot dog on the freeway!"

  1. Thats funny about the pacifier!!
    I would be standing there saying to myself "OK,God what are you trying to tell me here" :)
    I remember when I was around 10 years old,a contest where you could actually win a weinermobile,but you had to be 18 to enter and even then I was thinking "what adult wants a weinermobile?? its the 10 year old kids of the world that wants their own weinermobile!!"

  2. I love you + your funny/cute randomness so much!

    So that's where that binki went. Hmmmm...that explains that one. I wonder where the all the other dozens of our poor lost little binkies have ended up ? Seriously, sorry if that gave you a scare. But I am afraid to say we probably leave a trail of binkis wherever we go. How awesome, like Hesper said, if God *was* secretly using them as *signs*
    Oh and Deb and Jerry's little Lillian Hope was born this morning...she was 6 lbs 14 oz and 18 1/2 inches long, and doing well they are so happy with her. Anyway, that makes January 13th a very sweet + precious day for all of us. And I am so thrilled that we'll get to meet her before we leave for HI on MondayHey, also we found out that there is a Mars Hill Facebook group here in Spokane...so just waiting to hear back from someone on that. :) And they meet over here on the South Hill.
    Sheesh, sorry for my long-windedness, I should have just sent you an email.
    Hope your day is going well. I miss you. A LOT!
